Students will be able to

Identify historical figure’s job title or role.
Identify one or more of the historical figure’s accomplishments and/or contribution to society
(K-2nd) Write a narrative related to the historical figure.
Teachers will be able to
- Present a historical, black figure to a class.
- Implement learning materials such as books,videos, games, and puzzles to reinforce presentations.
- Guide students through hands-on experiences such as pretend play, individual and collaborative projects, and field trips.
- Make real world connections by introducing students to present day change makers in the related field of study.
- Foster positive relationships with the school, families, and community through grade level and whole school events.
